Kalgoorlie Wildflowers

Every year from August to October, the Goldfields come alive with wildflowers. After good winter rains, our native flora bursts into colour – bright orange grevillea, Sturt’s Desert Pea, yellow cassia and an array of pink, yellow and white everlastings.

Our region is also one of the few in Western Australia where the distinctive aromatic sandalwood tree can be found. Maps and wildflower booklets are available from the Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre during Wildflower Season.
