The club provides bowls for casual players, so all you need to do is rock up. We do recommend calling ahead to double check times for evening matches.
If tennis or badminton is more your game and you have a partner to play with, you can hire out one of the multi-purpose courts at the Goldfields Oasis Recreation Centre to play a few rounds.
Open until 9PM on weeknights and 6PM on weekends, a stadium pass costs just $4.50 for children and $6.50 for adults.

The 51 steel sculptures that populate Lake Ballard are awe-inspiring during the day, with their striking silhouettes creating dramatic shadows across the white salt lake.
But for a really unique experience, you should see them by the light of the stars.

If you do plan to go stargazing at Lake Ballard, be sure to pack the essentials.
It’s almost a 2-hour drive to get there, so ensure you have a full tank of fuel and plenty of water. And even though you’re in the desert, it gets cold out there. Pack thermals, a beanie, and a big, warm jacket to make sure you stay comfortable.
If you’re interested in photography bring a camera that has a long exposure setting, and a tripod to keep it steady. This will let you get a shot of the stars that are worthy of a postcard. And, if you have one—and some of you might—bring a telescope, to get a closer view of the stars and planets above you.
It’s well worth the trip to drive out there, set up, and get lost in the view above you.
And when your eyes adjust, you may even be able to see the Gormley statues joining you in gazing up at the heavens.
